Cookie Policy

Pursuant to the Italian Data Protection Authority Guidelines of 9 June 2021 and Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy). Last updated:

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files saved by the browser on the user's device when visiting a website. They allow the site to remember information about the visit, such as language preferences, authentication status and consents. The website deklara.it uses only technically necessary cookies for the operation of the service.

2. Necessary technical cookies

These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of the service and do not require the user's consent (Art. 122(1), Italian Privacy Code D.Lgs. 196/2003). They include session cookies for user authentication. They are not used for profiling or marketing purposes.

3. Traffic analysis — Plausible Analytics

For traffic measurement we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-by-design web analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies of any kind, does not collect personally identifiable data and does not require user consent under the GDPR. Aggregate data (pages visited, traffic sources) are stored on Plausible servers within the European Union.

4. Managing cookies

Since deklara.it uses only technically necessary cookies, no specific consent is required for cookies. However, users can manage or block cookies via browser settings:

  • Chrome:Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox:Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari:Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge:Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data.

Note: disabling technical session cookies prevents authentication and portal features from functioning correctly.
